General information, not personal advice

The treatment pages describe what a treatment does and what a session involves, in general terms. They are written to inform, not to diagnose. Nothing here is a diagnosis of your condition or a treatment plan for it.

What is right for you is decided at assessment, in person, with the history and examination that a page cannot perform.

No outcome is promised

Response to treatment varies between people, and typical session counts described on this site are typical rather than guaranteed. Your consultant will tell you what to expect in your case, and will tell you if physiotherapy is not the right answer.

When not to book online

Seek emergency care rather than booking an appointment if you have sudden weakness or numbness, loss of bladder or bowel control, chest pain, a severe headache of sudden onset, a suspected fracture, or symptoms following a significant fall or accident.

If your symptoms are severe or getting rapidly worse, see a doctor first.

Device treatments are screened

BTL EMSELLA is not suitable during pregnancy, or for patients with a pacemaker, defibrillator, metal implants such as hip replacements, or a copper coil / IUD. Every patient is screened before a first session. Do not book a device treatment on the strength of a web page alone.

Do not delay care because of this site

Never disregard medical advice you have been given, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.
